FAQ
Armagora is an online discussion platform created by The FUTURE ARMENIAN Development Foundation. It aims to discover pathways to overcoming the challenges facing Armenia and the Diaspora through discussions and polls, fostering constructive public discourse, and promoting public opinion in Armenia and the Diaspora towards the development of a culture of discussions.
The name derives from the ancient Greek ἀγορά, a popular assembly serving as a meeting place for citizen discussions.
On Armagora, we discuss the most pressing issues affecting Armenians worldwide at this complex historical juncture, such as the security crisis, Armenia-Diaspora relations, good governance, the need for vision, and the preservation and strengthening of sovereignty.
Anyone can join Armagora. To do so, you need to register.
We believe that in today’s polarized reality, achieving solutions requires broad public dialogue, healthy debates, and respect and tolerance for differing opinions’ right to exist. Strengthening mutual understanding is a crucial precondition for effective cooperation and action. This is the assurance that can guarantee the efficiency and success of any collaboration.
Discussions on Armagora are grounded in public opinion research and objective expert analysis. The platform publishes polls and enables anyone to initiate discussions independently by starting conversations in the Thread section. The platform prohibits profanity, insults, mockery, contentless debates, and unsubstantiated claims while promoting critical thinking, expression of opinions, free exchange of ideas, and publication of personal analyses and viewpoints.
